Steve used to make his living playing guitar and banjo in the pubs of Taiwan. After he returned to the United States he went to law school and began a career as an attorney. He is now back to playing, teaching and performing. Steve is on the Digital Dream Door list of the 100 best acoustic guitar players in the world. His second solo album, ‘The Angels’ Portion’, made the same list of the top 100 acoustic guitar albums of all time. Steve is the author of five instructional guitar books on Mel Bay Publications and he appears on the Rounder Records Celtic Fingerstyle Guitar series with Pierre Bensusan and Martin Simpson.
